GOOD COMPANY. GREAT FREQUENCIES.
For the late-night lobby, the next great discovery, and that one song everyone knows. Bring your soundtrack to Discord with Fallen FM Radio.
Have Manage Server permission? You’re ready to add FFM.
01 / TUNE IN
No complicated setup for listeners.
Everyone in your server can join the mix.
Add FFM to your server. It creates #fallenfm-music and pins a guide with every command.
Join a server voice channel. FFM follows the person requesting music to the voice channel they’re in.
Use /play in #fallenfm-music. Enter a song and artist, a YouTube link, or a genre.
One place for the music. Use music commands in #fallenfm-music while you’re in voice. To control active playback, share FFM’s voice channel. Unpinned messages clear after 15 minutes; the guide stays.
02 / FIND YOUR FREQUENCY
Found your sound? Start a station directly with /radio song-link:Lasgo Something, or use /radio alone for the current song. FFM keeps finding related tracks as the queue runs low.
Or go straight for a mood. Use /genre name:2000s dad rock and continuous radio starts automatically. Song and genre radio use Radio Premium, with one free 30-minute trial per server.
/genre name:2000s dad rockTry an example, then use the command in Discord with premium or trial access. This preview doesn’t play audio.
Radio adds up to 10 songs at a time and refills when fewer than 3 remain. After six hours without a command from your server, FFM shuts off and leaves voice.
FFM avoids tracks already queued and the last 200 video IDs played in that server session. Use /dislike to exclude a radio track from this server’s future sessions of that station. Different uploads can still repeat.
For unfamiliar genres, confirm a suggested song or add examples with /genre-example. Learned genres are shared across servers, without a restart.
03 / THE CONTROL ROOM
From the first track to the last encore.
Open a command for its syntax and an example.
/play <song-link-genre>Enter a song and artist, a YouTube link, or a genre. While you type a song, choose from up to three song/version suggestions. Song and link requests are free; genre requests start premium radio or the server’s trial. FFM joins your voice channel. Song requests join the queue; genre radio keeps the current song and manual requests first.
/play song-link-genre:2000’s dad rock/next [song-link-genre]Leave the field blank to skip. Supply a song or link to play it immediately, or a genre to switch stations now with premium or trial access. Your remaining manual queue stays.
/next song-link-genre:Everlong Foo Fighters/radio [song-link]Enter a song and artist or a YouTube link to join your voice channel and start its radio immediately. Choose from up to three song/version suggestions while typing. This replaces old radio picks and keeps manual requests queued. Leave song-link blank to use the current song without interrupting it. Requires premium, the server’s one-time trial, or a verified owner invitation. Station dislikes still apply. FFM adds related tracks after your manual requests and keeps refilling as the queue runs low. After six hours without an FFM command from this server, it stops playback, clears the queue, and leaves voice.
/radio song-link:Lasgo Something/radio-offTurn radio off, remove waiting radio tracks, and cancel pending genre discovery. The current song and manually queued songs keep playing.
/radio-off/genre <name>Enter a style such as jazz or 2000s dad rock. FFM joins your voice channel and switches immediately to that genre, replacing old radio picks and keeping manual requests queued. Premium or trial access and optional DJ rules apply. Unfamiliar styles use the confirmation flow: listen, say Yes, or try another example. Confirmed genres are shared across servers; dislikes stay specific to this server and genre.
/genre name:2000s dad rock/dislikeUse while a radio-selected song is playing. FFM skips it, replaces waiting radio picks, and refocuses on the original song or genre. Manual requests stay queued. That track is excluded whenever this server starts radio from the same original song, or the same genre, including saved stations and schedules. Dislikes survive restarts and do not affect other servers or stations. Join FFM’s voice channel and use #fallenfm-music; optional DJ rules apply. Use /skip for a manually requested song or a one-time skip without saving feedback. Different YouTube uploads are separate tracks.
Read the radio feedback guide.
/dislike/queueView a private, numbered list of the next 10 waiting songs, plus the current track and radio status. Songs are displayed as Song - Artist/Band.
/queue/full-queueGet the whole queue in as many private messages as needed, with continuous numbering. This removes the 10-song display cutoff; it doesn’t increase queue capacity.
/full-queue/queue-order <order>List original queue numbers separated by spaces or commas. Listed songs become first, second, and so on; unlisted songs follow in their original relative order. The current song continues. Duplicate or invalid numbers reject the whole change.
/queue-order order:5 1 9 31 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 → 5 1 9 3 2 4 6 7 8 10
/nowplayingFind out exactly what’s on. Artist names appear throughout FFM’s song messages; missing artist metadata is shown as Unknown artist.
/nowplaying/volume [level]Leave the level blank to see the current volume. Set 0 to mute or choose 10, 20, and so on up to 100. Changes apply immediately, are saved for this server, and don’t affect other servers.
/volume level:50/skipMove on to the next queued song. You can also use /next without a song request.
/skip/pauseTake a breather without clearing the queue. Use /resume when you’re ready.
/pause/resumeContinue a paused song from its current position.
/resume/stopEnd playback and discard waiting songs and pending requests. Use /play to start again, or /leave to disconnect FFM from voice.
/stop/playlist <url>Paste a playlist link. FFM joins your voice channel and queues up to 50 playlist entries, subject to the available queue space.
/leaveEnd the session, cancel pending requests and genre discovery, and send FFM out of the voice channel.
/leave/joinJoin a normal server voice channel first. FFM joins or moves to it, carrying the server’s current playback and queue along.
/join/genre-example <genre> <song> [song-2] [song-3]Add one to three example songs or YouTube links per request. Examples update the shared genre library immediately, with up to 25 distinct examples per genre. Then request the genre with /play.
/genre-example genre:2000s dad rock song:Like a Stone Audioslave/saved-playlist <action> [name]Actions: save, play, list, delete. Save snapshots the current song followed by every waiting song, including radio tracks, with song and artist metadata. Up to 25 named playlists, 1–100 songs each. Play appends the saved songs as manual requests; it respects the 100-song queue limit. New saves and playback need premium or an active trial. Managers can replace or delete; listing and deletion remain available after access ends.
/saved-playlist action:save name:night drive/station <action> [name]Actions: save, play, list, delete. Save the active genre or song-radio seed; if no radio is running, save the current song as a station seed. Up to 25 per server. Play switches now to that saved station and keeps the manual queue. Starting a saved station needs premium or an active trial. Managers can replace or delete presets; deleting a station also deletes schedules that use it.
/station action:save name:late night/schedule <action> [name] [station] [time]Manage Server required. Actions: add, list, delete. Save a station first, then provide a schedule name, saved station name, and daily 24-hour UTC time (HH:MM). Up to 20 schedules per server, one per time. Changes only happen while premium radio is active and people are in FFM’s voice channel. FFM never joins voice or restarts stopped music for a schedule. Offline, busy, or missed runs are skipped. UTC times do not adjust for daylight saving; update your schedule when needed. Listing/deletion need no premium, and no voice connection is needed to manage schedules.
/schedule action:add name:evening station:late night time:23:30/dj-role [role] [clear]Manage Server required; no voice connection needed. With premium or an active trial, choose a server role to control music changes. Members of that role and server managers can request, skip, reorder, change volume, and manage music. With no role configured, everyone can use FFM. Queue views, /premium, /invite, /website, /radio-off, /stop, and /leave remain accessible with their usual channel/voice rules. Use clear:true to remove the restriction, even after premium ends. With no arguments, view the setting.
/dj-role clear:true/announcements <action> [text]Manage Server required; no voice connection needed. Actions: show, set, off, reset. Custom text is up to 300 characters. Include {song}, which always supplies both song and artist; optionally add {url}. Announcements stay in #fallenfm-music and never ping users or roles. Off mutes now-playing posts only; errors and other updates remain. Changes apply to the next track. Show and reset work after premium expires; the default returns when access ends.
/announcements action:set text:On air: {song} — {url}/premiumView the $4.99 USD monthly server plan, all included tools, trial status, and the Discord purchase button when available. One subscription covers this server. Viewing this command never starts the trial. It works outside the music channel and without joining voice. FFM’s configured owner can also confirm a personal invitation if automatic verification missed it. Compare Free and Premium above.
/premium/inviteReceive a private invite link and an Add FFM button. Share the link with a server owner or someone with Manage Server permission. Works outside the music channel, without joining voice.
/invite/websiteGet a link and button to the Fallen FM Radio website. Support, the Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service are all here, along with the command guide. Works outside the music channel without joining voice.
/websiteTry another search, or show the full command list.
Select the slash command in Discord, then fill in its named fields. Examples show what to enter; pasting text alone may not execute a command.
04 / GOOD TO KNOW
Small details.
A smoother session.
Yes. Any member with music-channel and voice access can request music by default. A premium server’s managers can optionally limit music changes to a DJ role; managers always retain access. /stop, /leave, and /radio-off remain available with the usual voice checks. /premium, /invite, and /website work without joining voice. One subscription covers the whole server.
No. Each server has its own queue, volume, subscription status, saved playlists, stations, schedules, DJ role, and announcement settings. Learned genres are shared. The software connection limit is 1,000 servers; actual simultaneous playback depends on host capacity and provider availability, and has not been verified at that scale.
With premium access, radio keeps adding tracks while the server is active, until you turn it off with /radio-off, stop playback, or leave. After six hours without an FFM slash command in that server, FFM stops playback, clears that server’s queue, and disconnects. Checks run once a minute. Any FFM slash command in that server resets its timer, including /queue, /invite, and /website. Messages, autocomplete suggestions, and automatic radio refills do not reset it. Scheduled changes do not reset the timer or restart a stopped session. Trial expiry also ends radio; manual requests remain available. Other servers are unaffected. Unavailable recommendations, lookup failures, or repeated playback errors can also end a station. /radio-off keeps your current song and manual queue.
FFM searches for a candidate and asks you privately whether it fits. You can listen, confirm it, or try another song. A “yes” saves the example and starts radio. After three unsuccessful tries, use /genre-example to teach it. If a request is ambiguous, prefix it with genre: for radio or song: for a single track.
The current setup allows up to 100 waiting songs, with up to 50 playlist entries per import. /queue shows the next 10; /full-queue shows every waiting song. Radio adds batches of up to 10 when fewer than 3 remain, so its refill can leave up to 12 waiting tracks.
FFM disconnects after about three minutes with no queued music or active radio. Playback also depends on the host being online and music being available from the provider. Join voice and use /play to start again. Radio also shuts off after six hours without an FFM slash command in that server, clearing its queue and leaving voice. For help and policies, use /website.
FFM removes unpinned messages in #fallenfm-music once they’re 15 minutes old, checking every minute while online. Pinned posts, including the command guide, stay. Keep conversations you want to preserve in another channel.
