BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY

Check your access.

Run /premium to see this server’s subscription or trial status. One subscription covers everyone in that server. Verified servers where FFM’s configured owner personally invited the bot receive all premium features free forever.

/premium

Use music commands in #fallenfm-music while you’re in a normal server voice channel. Share FFM’s voice channel to control active playback.

Select the slash command in Discord, then fill in its named fields using these examples. Copying or pasting command text alone may not execute it.

01 / DISCOVER THE NEXT TRACK

Song radio

Start a continuous station directly from a song or YouTube link, even when nothing is playing.

  1. Join a server voice channel and open #fallenfm-music.
  2. Use /radio with a song and artist or YouTube link in the song-link field. You can choose from three song/version suggestions.
/radio song-link:Lasgo Something

With a song/link, FFM joins your voice channel and switches immediately, keeping manual requests queued and replacing old radio picks. Station dislikes still apply. To build radio from the current song without interrupting it, leave the field blank:

/radio

FFM adds related songs after your manual requests and keeps refilling the queue. It adds up to 10 songs when fewer than 3 remain, avoiding queued tracks and the last 200 video IDs played in that server session. Different uploads can still repeat.

Not your sound? Use /dislike.

When a radio-selected song misses the mark, run:

/dislike

FFM skips it, replaces the waiting radio picks, and rebuilds from the original song’s style. Your manual requests stay queued. Future refills return to the original song and, when needed, its direct recommendations to reduce drift.

The disliked track is saved for this server and this original song. Starting that station again—including through a saved station or schedule—excludes it, even after a bot restart. For genre radio, dislikes are remembered for this server and that genre. Other stations and servers keep their own preferences.

Use #fallenfm-music while sharing FFM’s voice channel; optional DJ restrictions apply. /dislike applies only to radio picks. Use /skip for manual requests or to skip without saving feedback. Explicit song requests can still play a disliked track. Matching uses its YouTube video ID, so another upload or version may still appear. Feedback changes FFM locally and does not rate music on the operator’s YouTube account.

  • /radio-off ends radio and removes waiting radio tracks, keeping the current song and manual requests.
  • /stop stops everything and clears the queue.
  • /leave clears the queue and disconnects FFM.

Radio stops, clears the queue, and leaves voice after six hours without an FFM slash command in this server. FFM also stops and leaves when no human listeners remain. Trial or subscription expiry and unavailable recommendations can also end radio.

02 / SET THE MOOD

Genre radio

Use /genre with a musical style in the name field. FFM joins your voice channel and starts that style immediately, even when nothing is playing. Manual requests stay queued; old radio picks are replaced.

/genre name:2000s dad rock

Run /genre again to change the style immediately. To let the current song and manual queue play first, request the genre through /play instead:

/play song-link-genre:synthwave

For an unfamiliar genre, FFM may ask whether a suggested song fits. Listen and confirm, or ask it to try again. After three unsuccessful attempts, provide an example with /genre-example:

/genre-example genre:2000s dad rock song:Like a Stone Audioslave

Genre examples are shared across servers and take effect immediately. Teaching a genre is free; playing its continuous station uses premium or trial access. /genre always treats its input as a style. /radio treats its song-link field as a song, even a title such as Jazz. Both use the same premium access and optional DJ rules as other radio controls.

03 / KEEP YOUR FAVORITES

Saved playlists

Build a queue you like, then save the current song followed by all waiting songs, including radio tracks already in the queue. Each save captures that moment’s song list.

/saved-playlist action:save name:night drive

Find, replay, or remove your saved playlists:

/saved-playlist action:list
/saved-playlist action:play name:night drive
/saved-playlist action:delete name:night drive

Playing a saved playlist appends its songs as manual requests. Each server can keep 25 playlists with 1–100 songs each. The live queue must have enough space for the songs you’re adding.

Anyone with the server’s music/DJ access may create a new playlist. Manage Server is required to overwrite or delete one. Importing a YouTube playlist link with /playlist remains free.

04 / FIND YOUR WAY BACK

Saved stations

Save a genre or starting song so you can return to its recommendations later.

  1. Start a genre station, song radio, or a song you like.
  2. Save it under a memorable name.
  3. Use the play action whenever you want that station again.
/station action:save name:late night
/station action:list
/station action:play name:late night
/station action:delete name:late night

Playing a saved station switches immediately and starts continuous radio while keeping manual requests. Each server can save 25 stations. Manage Server is required to replace or delete a station; deleting one also removes schedules that use it.

Playlist and station names are case-insensitive and can use 1–40 letters, numbers, spaces, apostrophes, dashes, or underscores. Saved presets belong to this server and survive bot restarts.

05 / PLAN THE EVENING MANAGE SERVER

Scheduled station changes

Switch an active radio session to a saved station at the same time each day.

  1. Save a station first, such as late night.
  2. Choose a name for the schedule and a daily time in UTC, using 24-hour HH:MM.
  3. Add the schedule. FFM applies it when radio is already running with listeners.
/schedule action:add name:evening station:late night time:23:30

This switches to late night every day at 23:30 UTC.

/schedule action:list
/schedule action:delete name:evening
  • Up to 20 schedules per server, with one change per time.
  • Radio must already be active with people in FFM’s voice channel.
  • Schedules never join voice or restart music after it has stopped.
  • Offline, busy, failed, or missed changes are skipped.
  • Schedules do not reset the six-hour inactivity timer.

UTC schedules do not adjust automatically for daylight saving. Update the time if your desired local time changes. You can manage schedules from #fallenfm-music without joining voice.

06 / SHARE THE DECKS MANAGE SERVER

DJ-role controls

Choose which members can change the music. This restriction is optional; everyone has music access by default, subject to normal channel and voice permissions.

  1. Create a Discord role such as DJs.
  2. Assign it to the people you want controlling music.
  3. Select that role in FFM’s role field.
/dj-role role:@DJs

Members with that role and server managers can request songs, skip, reorder, change volume, and make other music changes. In Discord, choose the actual server role from the role picker.

/dj-role
/dj-role clear:true

The first shows the current setting; the second restores everyone’s music access. Queue views, /premium, /invite, /website, /radio-off, /stop, and /leave remain accessible under their usual channel and voice rules.

Manage this setting from #fallenfm-music without joining voice. Server managers always retain control; a deleted DJ role cannot lock everyone out.

07 / GIVE IT YOUR VOICE MANAGE SERVER

Custom announcements

Personalize the now-playing message posted in #fallenfm-music. Use up to 300 characters.

/announcements action:set text:On air: {song} — {url}
  • {song} supplies Song - Artist/Band and is required.
  • {url} supplies the song link and is optional.
  • Changes apply to the next track. Announcements never ping users or roles.

View the template, mute now-playing posts, or return to the default:

/announcements action:show
/announcements action:off
/announcements action:reset

Muting affects now-playing posts only. Errors and other bot updates remain visible. You can manage announcements from #fallenfm-music without joining voice.

GOOD TO KNOW

One trial. Every feature.

The first successful radio activation starts this server’s one-time 30-minute trial. All premium tools work during that window. It runs for 30 consecutive minutes, including time spent paused, stopped, or offline, and never automatically charges. Reinstalling FFM does not reset it.

When premium access ends, saved presets remain for listing, deletion, and later reactivation. DJ restrictions stop applying, custom announcements return to default, and schedules stop running. Normal song requests, playlist-link imports, queue controls, and volume remain free.
