FFM Privacy Policy

This policy describes the current FFM (Fallen FM Radio) Discord bot operated by its owner ("the operator").
1. Information processed
FFM receives Discord interaction data needed to respond to slash commands. This can include your Discord user ID and account or server-member details supplied by Discord, the server and channel IDs, command arguments, and voice-channel membership information. It uses user IDs to check access and voice state to determine where playback is allowed.
Music requests include search text, track or playlist URLs and identifiers, and track titles returned by media services. The operator keeps the configured server ID, owner ID, subscription SKU, and bot settings in local configuration. Discord supplies entitlement records used to check premium access, including entitlement, purchaser, server, app, and SKU identifiers and validity information. FFM does not receive or store payment card details.
2. Purpose and sharing
Information is used to check permissions, find requested music, manage a temporary queue, connect to voice channels, and provide responses and operational diagnostics.
Search text and requested media identifiers or URLs are sent to YouTube or YouTube Music as needed for search and playback. Requests to Discord and media providers expose the bot host's network information, such as its IP address, to those providers. The operator may configure their own local YouTube session-cookie file for media requests. FFM does not ask listeners to provide their Google password or session cookies.
Audio is sent through Discord to the connected voice channel. Track titles and links can be posted in the text channel where the voice connection began. Command responses and queue views are normally sent as ephemeral Discord replies. Other participants may see posted track information and hear the music.
The current bot code contains no advertising, sale-of-data feature, or third-party analytics integration.
3. Storage and retention
Playback queues and current-track metadata are held in memory and reset when the bot process exits; stop and leave commands clear the queue. The bot does not maintain a persistent listening-history database.
The bot stores server volume, pinned-guide channel/message IDs, shared genre names and example songs, trial start times, and verified owner-invitation grants in a local database. Invitation grants can include the owner ID and an audit-entry reference or confirmation marker. Trial/grant records persist after removal or reinstallation to prevent repeat trials. Premium saved playlists and stations store names, track IDs, titles, artists, and genres per server. Daily schedules store names, UTC times, station references, and the last run date. Premium preferences store a DJ role ID and announcement template. These records remain until changed or deleted; premium expiry does not delete them. Server managers can delete presets/schedules and reset preferences through commands, and can request further deletion through support. If configured, the operator's YouTube cookie file remains on the host until removed or replaced and may be updated by the media library.
Operational diagnostics are retained in rotating log files on the operator's computer (main bot log: up to four files of approximately 5 MB each), with additional startup/watchdog and desktop-control diagnostics. Logs may include server/channel IDs, connection events, and error information. Playback queues reset on shutdown, while deliberately saved playlists/stations persist. FFM removes unpinned messages from #fallenfm-music after 15 minutes, checked during online cleanup sweeps; pinned posts remain. Discord messages are also subject to Discord and server retention or deletion controls. Discord, Google, YouTube, and the website hosting provider independently process information under their own policies; clearing the bot queue does not delete their records.
Radio dislike preferences store a Discord server ID, the original station’s song video ID or genre name, and each disliked track’s YouTube video ID in the local database. They personalize that server’s station across sessions, saved stations, schedules, and bot restarts. Individual voter IDs are not saved with feedback, and feedback does not change the operator’s YouTube account ratings. Dislikes remain until deleted by the operator; request removal through support. Other servers and stations are unaffected.
4. Voice and message content
The current bot joins voice channels self-deafened and does not implement voice recording or transcription. It does not enable Discord's Message Content intent or implement general chat-message collection. It does receive information supplied with slash-command interactions.
5. Your choices and requests
Avoid including sensitive information in searches, links, or commands. Stop using the bot at any time. Authorized users can use stop or leave commands to clear pending playback. Server administrators can remove the bot or revoke its permissions.
To ask about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights available under applicable law, contact the FFM operator directly on Discord: @thefallencourier. Provide only the information needed to identify your request, such as your Discord user ID and relevant message links. The operator may need to verify that a request concerns your data. Discord and Google account data requests should also be directed to those services where applicable.
6. Children
FFM is intended only for people eligible to use Discord in their country. Do not use it if you do not meet that requirement. If you believe a child who is not eligible has provided personal information through FFM, contact the operator through the server's administrators.
7. This website
These policy pages contain no application forms, embedded third-party media, analytics scripts, or bot-account sign-in. The hosting provider may process network and request information to serve and protect the website.
8. Changes and contact
Updates will be posted here with a revised effective date. Material changes will also be announced in the server where FFM operates where reasonably practicable. For questions or requests, contact the bot operator directly on Discord: @thefallencourier.
